50 IN A ROW (EA. FOOT)

Can you jump rope 50 times in a row on one foot? With both feet? If not, you may consider working on some foot/calf strength before diving into 4-6 days a week of running.

RUNNING TAKES A WHILE

Especially if you're marathon training. You might get to a point where your long runs are 2-3 hours long. Make sure you can devote the time to training - because training only works if you actuall do it.

5k, 10k, HALF MARATHON

Can you go 0->marathon? Yes, you can. You can also do some 5k, 10k and half marathon races first! Get your feet wet and fall in love with successful short races before going for the big one.

If you're going to run a marathon, you've got to be committed. Remember why you signed up in the first place. Remove obstacles, and stay focused on the end goal. Baby steps every day will lead to a marathon finish.
